“Experience beats theory” With this thought in mind, I began my Christmas card project in September. For inspiration, I turned to past gifts and greeting cards, which led to the creation of six designs. As soon as I finished the first cards, I shifted my focus to selling them. Before long, I was able to offer my cards at two Advent markets, as well as in two flower shops that also presented them to their customers.

For nearly three years, I created paintings driven by emotion, exhibited them, and sold them. During that time, I never really considered offering commissioned works. It wasn’t until September 2025, when I was asked whether I would be open to creating a specific piece for a family—and I agreed, surprised and happy—that commissions became part of my artistic journey.
